The Transport Control Team at the Norfolk International Jamboree at Sandringham, August 1964.
Our basic task was to check people going in and out, and to ensure that no Mods or Rockers came roaring in!
SGS scouts shown are: backrow: 2 Vaughan Moll, the gentle giant who later acted at the Young Vic with Helen Mirren
front row: Humph Abbott - Ralph Dunham - Keith Oliver - Dannie Nicholas - Terry Pennick (who had an elder brother at SGS, Tony).
Dannie believes that everyone in the front row eventually became a Queen's Scout.
