Soham Grammarians : Entry Year Guide

Please use this table to check your form's entry year at SGS. Most Grammarians entered in their first year. The editor was a late joiner, arriving in the 2nd form in the school year beginning Sep60, so his form's entry year is Sep59 (School Year 59-60) and he is SG'59'.
Ending in school year 50-51 boys began in 'Form II', rather than Form I and their equivalent sequence was II, III, IV, LV, VU, VIB, VIA.

The entry form progression is shown, e.g the 1965-66 Upper Sixth's peer group form entry year was Sep59. Entry years with links have a form list of some kind (if in a grey cell, then currently only those going on to the Sixth Form). Bold pages have links to group photos.

Ideally we would like to have the actual lists for each entry year, as distinct from approximations (for example the Sep59 list is based on the third form lists for the school year 61-62). School Lists for school years 55-56 and 56-57 are particularly sought.
